Ok, so I am ttc and my last period ended on 8-24-08... This is our first month trying. Last night I noticed I was having cramps similar to period cramps but not as bad. Then this morning I was feeling a little queezy. Is it too early to be pregnant? I know you don't ovulate till 14 days after your period or something like that. SO could this ba a possible pregnancy?

  1. It's only been four days since your period ended.  Too early.  I think the fact that you really want to get pregnant is making you feel like you are.

Relax, you will get pregnant when your body is ready.  It can take a few tries.  You can also try those ovulating test so you can try having more s*x when you are ovulating.

  2. It's too early for pregnancy symptoms. It sounds like impending ovulation to me. It took 5 days after ovulation for me to have fatigue which made me test with a super sensitive test which gave me a faint line.

5+ days after ovulation is when implantation takes place, so it seems very unlikely.

Have you tried using a Charting website like Fertility Friend, I used it with my first pregnancy and now i'm a pro! :-D

P.S. toriaj054 - Is WRONG, not every woman ovulated on day 14 that is a MYTH.

  3. Too early for preg. symptoms.

TTC can be a waiting process.

    BABY DUST!

  4. It's definitely too early to be feeling pregnancy symptoms. Most people don't feel them unill about a month after conception. I started feeling mine a little less that 2 weeks after conception and everyone said that was really early. I never got cramps tho. I have tender nipples, swollen b***s, I was ALWAYS tired, and constantly peeing.

  5. I deffinetly to early to have symtoms you usually get them 3-4 weeks after being pregnant if you were trying and now you are getting symptoms your probely thinking to much about it I cant rember exacly what they call it but when you are trying and hoping to be pregnant somtimes you think you have symptoms that realy just come from thinking to much about it that happend to me when we were trying for are second kid good luck

  6. ok i really dont want to come across a rude i just want to point a few things out. You say its is your first month trying so its too be expected that you dont really no much about TTC apart from the basics. First of all you need to start calculating your "MONTH" from the first day of your period not the last day. You also dont ovulate 14days after your period you actually ovulate 14 days before your next period is due. Its is a weird way to work it out i know! If your monthly cycle is 28 days then it will work out you ovulate on the same day whether you work it out 14 days after or before, if im making any sense. But if your monthly cycle is 30, 31,32 days etc it wont. Once an egg is fertilized which will be a day or posibly 2 days either side of you surposed ovulation date (an egg cannot stay alive any longer than 2 days) it the takes 6-10 days for the egg to finish it route to your uterine wall and stick itself to it, This is when you are officially pregnant and the hormone HCG is produced, that is needed to turn a HPT positive. So the answer to your question is a definate no, no. I hope i dont sound rude i just thourght id give you abit of information to help you along the way! There is a really usefull website that will give you all the information you need on TTC www.askdramy.com or .co.uk (cant remember which one it is) Lots of baby dust for you **************

  7. It sounds like ovulation pains. It is way too early for pregnancy symptons. If you were to conceive implantation would not even occur until 6 to 10 days after ovulation.

  8. you need to give us the date your last period STARTED, also how long your cycle normally is.
