I am an opener at a 24/hour restaurant. Getting up at 3 am to work at 4 sometimes sucks, but otherwise it is my favorite shift> Stocking isn't hard, we miss most of the drunks, and though it starts pretty slow * some days*, the pace quickens later on, so your day goes by quicker. Standard day is 4am-12pm.

  1. I didn't mind working dinner hour on weeknights and closing up.  It was a slow shift, and I got to take home leftover sushi.

  2. I like closing shift , it is more layed back. After dinner rush it slows down. Things move at a slower pace. You don`t have to worry so much about the big guys coming in.The customers seem happier, and much easier to deal with.

  3. I love the lunch shift because it moves so fast.  I can work a longer shift if it is at lunch then to work close because the time goes faster from 9-2.

  4. I LOVED WORKING SPLIT SHIFT LESS HOURS AT A TIME BUT THEY WERE FAST WHEN A SHIFT GOES FAST YOU MAKE MORE MONEY AND GO HOME REST UP FOR THE NEXT GO ROUND THAT MEANS YOU GET TWO MEALS INSTEAD OF HURRY UP AND WAIT HOPE IT HELPS
