Too many medications at once?

Question

I am currently taking b.c. pills, allegra d, darvocet n, and amoxicillin. I wake up between 3-5 in the morning feeling nauseas like I'm hungover. I take the amox with dinner and breakfast. I take the other 3 before I go to bed. And I don't take the allegra or darvocet in the morning because I get sleepy and I don't like sleepy. I don't know which one is causing this or all of them together...if no one really knows, I'll call my pharmacist in the morning. Thanks! (Oh and incase you're wondering, I'm not drinking with all of these)

I would definitely use condoms because you are not supposed to take antibiotics while on b.c.  As far as nausea, it is a common complaint of all 4 of those.

wow. i was under the impression that antibiotics kinda lower the efficacy of birth control pills.

but anyway, one medication can DEFINATELY affect how another medication works. this is because many medications use the same metabolism pathway which can either inhibit metabolism (which most likely leads to toxicities...probably why you feel like c**p) or ramp up metabolism (which most likely leads to less efficacy). even what you eat can affect how medications work on you.

yeah, i'd let a pharmacist know all the medications you're prescribed.
