I don't understand why but the shelves in my fridge are always wet there's just a massive coat of water on everything. What can I do to cut down the water?

  1. Someone mentioned the lining - that's easily checked, and I would.  It also might be that things are packed too tightly.  That can cause malfunction in either freezer or fridge.

  2. sounds like your freezer is broken and the water from the defrost cycle drips down into your fridge

  3. Sounds like your fridge has discharge. I would leave pads uncase it starts its peroid.

  4. Sounds like your having  a defrost cycle problem.

Get out the manual( if you still have it or look up the model on the internet and get the info from there).

It can also be a coldness setting.

It could also be cause by excessive opening of the fridge or a bad door lining that's letting warm air in.
