Too much water or not?

i know i drink a lot of water possible 9 cups a day. my urine is almost always clear and i mean CLEAR! i heard that clear urine is healthy and i also heard that clear urine is a sign of over hydration

so all i want to know is if it is healthy or not?

what could i drink besides water to reduce my water intake ( i think im having too much) im not a fan of soda, im trying to be very healthy

  1. I'm no expert but I've heard at least 80 oz a day Water is the best thing to drink Juices aren't really that good too much sugar fruit should be eaten whole.


  2. It's fine to drink that much water. The more water the better! 9 cups a day is not too much, you're supposed to drink at LEAST 8 a day. =) I think you're doing fine. If you are looking for other drink options try iced tea (no sugar), green tea, Crystal Light (which is pretty much flavor to water, so I guess not what you want lol), Low Fat or Fat Free Milk, 100% Fruit Juice (just don't drink too much of it), V8 is good, some of the Sobe Drinks are good... look for low cal, low sugar options. There's a lot out there. Stay away from sugary drinks, "fake" tea like Nestle Lemon, 10% Fruit Drinks, Kool Aid, Soda, etc and you're fine!

  3. Depends on how big you are.  Don't ever go by the "8 glasses a day" or "so many ounces a day" rule, because it completely depends on your size.  I'm 105 pounds, and my doctor told me 4 (8 oz) glasses a day.
