Too old to be a pro dancer?

i just started dance i am 12 i love it and would love to be a pro dancer and have a career in dance or should i have started at like 3 or 4

I'm sorry but you need to be 13 years old to participate on Y!A.

If you work extremely hard in the next 5 years, then you could become pro. The dancing world is extremely competitive so you need to make sure your getting the best training available to you. Try and take as many dance classes as possible as well.

there is a steroetype that to be a pro dancer you need to have started from a young age.

which of course isn't true.

they say the younger you start the better it is.

which is true.

but i started dancing when i was 3.

my best friend started dancing when she was 13 and shes up to were i am.

The point is.

no matter how old you are, you can dance.

as they say dancing from the feet is one thing but dancing from the heart is another.

Work, towards your goal. It wont be easy but it wont be hard.

be dedicated and you can become a pro dancer.

no your not too old at all. if its something that you really want to do and you work at it really hard, it shouldnt matter what age you were when you started dancing. do what u love and love what u do.
