  1. For the most part no.  If you are traveling to the Mtns ( i.e Etna in Sicily) yes.  Like the first answer bring it just in case.  Average temperatures are 75 -80 during the day and around 60-65 during the evening.  Obviously the temperatures will rise the farther south you go.

    Enjoy Italy

  2. hi i'm italian! no it's ok 4 the evening because in day you can stay in t shirt!!!

    sorry 4 my english ;)

    ciaooo

  3. according to the website noted below, "May is the month of roses, in Italy, with weather that is warm but not too hot for sightseeing."

it would probably be best to google what the weather is like in may in the city u are going to in italy. i went to rome and florence in july 2007 and the weather was sooo hot and miserable but i expected that. still an amazing time.

  4. hmm depending on what youre wearing underneath it, you can probably pull it off at night as a jacket over a dress. bring it just incase!
