  1. Hi, Just want to say your question is mine also. My daughter is now 14 months old. She doesn't want to eat, acting cranky and clingy a lot these couple days. (She is always very independent, cooperative, and lively). (She is a picky eater, but these couple days the eating situation is worse). She woke up many times at night, sometimes hungry (as she didn't eat enough I guess during the day) and sometimes just waking up crying. I saw two buds on her top gum so I thought teething is a major cause, but not so sure it's the only as she may probably  reach the stage of being emotionally. Anyway, hope he can eat soon.

  2. Yes.  My nephew did the same thing.  Keep him drinking so he doesn't get dehydrated.  It's normal if they don't want to eat while teething and they just want to be held.  Now, take a breath. He'll be fine.

  3. I have 2 year old, same thing.  It is frusturating the dr said teething or growing.  Also sometimes the little ones go through these stages.

  4. try giving your toddler "cold" foods - cold puddings, fruits, yogarts, milk, etc. The cold may help sooth the teething process.  When he's hungry enough, he will eat but if he refuses for too long, see a doctor to check for any health issues.

  5. If you want to temporarily boost his calories with the food he is eating you can try a few ideas from this article that helped me when my toddler needed to bulk up.

  6. Has there been any change in his routine, such as you going back to work? That can lead to eating problems...

Just make sure to keep feeding him small snacks throughout the day and he should get over it soon enough.
