Took a pregnancy test , got a negative.?

I am three days from my period, I was a little anxious so I took a pregnancy test last night. It was negative. Was it too early to test? Has anyone had a negative result then got a positive later? If so, How long did you wait to take the test?

There are pregnancy tests that can work up to 5 days early, but you definitely could end up with a positive a few days from now.

Wait to see if you get your period. You will make yourself psycho if you don't wait. Don't be telling your man your preggers either. He will think you're psycho too.

I don't think it was too early to test. The home pregnancy tests are very accurate, get the one called EPT-it gives u results 5 days before ur missed period and this test has always been very accurate.

yea it could be too early. or it could be that it wont pick up your hormones. I did the same thing and I went to the doctor and had a blood test and it came out positive. Try another test in about 3 more days and if that comes out negative then try to get an appointment with the doctor just to make sure everything is ok.

I tested negative for three months. I had periods the whole time but I knew that something was off. The doc got a positive result with both blood tests and on the ultrasound when the urine was still negative.

yes.. and so i waited till the mornin of my missed period and got a positive lol:)
