Took a pregnancy test this morning had a positive (Dollar Store Brand) See comments for rest of story.

Question

Took another test and neg. Took another this afternoon and seen very very vert faint line (could be evap line), took a digital and was neg. I am 13 or 14 dpo. I should start my cycle tomorrow or tuesday. Any thoughts?

Chances are you are testing to soon but with a positive you are more than likely pregnant congrats. The hormone is prolly not strong enough right now. take another test in the morning.

If you get positives, you're pregnant.  You're HCG levels are the highest in the morning, take another one in the AM with your first morning urine.

But I'd have to say that yes, you are pregnant.  False positives are not common whatsoever.

Since you have not started your period yet it may be that your levels are just not high enough.  I would say that the two positive tests would be correct. Very rarely are there false positives.  Digital tests require a higher level of hcg to test positive (usually 50 while other tests are 20 or 25).  Wait and take another test tomorrow with first morning urine.  Your levels double every day so you should have a darker line either tomorrow or the next if you are. the most acurate test is the one you take first thing in the morning because it hold the most of the pregnancy hermone. so do it again when you fist wake up and there ya go you will know

Hmmm I had same thing happen to me today but very very faint line that you have to look for to see...use the digital tests I say.  I'm using one tomorrow.  The "Line" tests are iffy.

Wait til your period is suppose to come. If it doesn't take another test. False positives are rare, so I think you're pregnant! It doesn't matter how faint the line is. GL lots of baby dust and if you are have a happy and healthy 9 months.

a line is a positive but did you take all the other test this afternoon if so i would test again with fmu as its more concentrated and contains a higher level of hcg than in the afternoon

I have had some really weird results with dollar store tests.

Including the line moving all the way over and being sideways.  

Another time the whole thing changed color and STAYED that way.

Both of these were negatives

Talk about making someone nuts.  I always had better luck with First Response when it was really important.  Or the old fashion one were you have to use the dropper. (those are hard to find, never had a bad result on that, even early)

I would wait another day or two, and if you don't have your period, go get a better test that won't make you crazy like they did me!

Could be just too early.  

Wait till the day your perido is due then re-take the test first thing in the morning from your first wee, mid-flow.  

And re-take a few days later just to be sure.
