The Bags/Sis 500 – Heat 2 is going to be held at Sheffield greyhound racing course tonight, February 16. The Grade A4 event with prize money worth of £150 will start at 13:12.
The entries for the contest are as follows:
1: Black Sparten
2: Toosey Cherry
3: Dorian
4: Jacobs Delight
5: Barnside Bob
6: Parkfield David
Bettor.Com presents here an exclusive betting preview of the race so that the bookmakers run the market wisely.
Following is a brief analysis based on the key career records and salient skills of each of the six runners.
Black Sparten
Trained by N Melbourne, the black dog has not won any race since the dawn of the calendar year. However, he had a couple of good victories during December 2011. Even prior to this, he had a long lean patch. Thus, the son of Hondo Black out of Cleenas Pride
seems to be out-of-form. He is not likely to perform confidently tonight.
Toosey Cherry
M Cutler’s brindle dog accomplished a couple of consecutive victories each in November and December 2011. She stroke again on February 9 and grabbed a marvellous victory. This splendid success streak has perked up her confidence significantly. This shows
that the five-year-old runner will perform well tonight, having 85 percent chances to win.
Dorian
Trained by M O'Donnell, the fawn dog has been winless since December 22, 2011. The eight-defeat long failure streak has dented his dented his confidence badly. He has been somewhat inconsistent throughout his career. The son of Billy Playback out of Marys
Opal is not likely to make any impact even tonight.
Jacobs Delight
Since November 2011, the blue dog has won just one race. However, he had been somewhat consistent during the first half of the last year. His ongoing bad patch does not suggest that the three-year-old runner will do anything better in this race. He may finish
third.
Barnside Bob
After losing a number of races during October-December 2011, the E Parker’s black dog bounced back and bagged a victory on January 27. However, he again went to lose two subsequent contests. Thus, he seems to be somewhat inconsistent for today’s event. If
he runs to his best, he can finish second or third tonight.
Parkfield David
During last couple of months, the J Walton-trained black dog won just one race on January 10, 2012. He could not carry forward this momentum and went on to lose six races in a row. So, his chances to win tonight are as low as 30 percent.
Conclusion
The entire analysis shows that Toosey Cherry is the only runner who can be able to fight for the top position in tonight’s event. If the dog manages to capitalise on his form well, he will surely win. Let us get ready for the live show. Good luck to all
the runners.
