Tooth, Jaw problem?

well i have a cavity in one of my back molars up top and it hasnt bothered me any untill now, I have this mild pain that extends into the jaw around the right side of my face and a sinus infection type pain (head ache, eye sensitive). I have a dentist appointment in mid aug. but i was wondering if this is a very serious problem

  1. It's only serious if you think it is; if the pain is manageable, then it's not an emergency. But if it hurts enough that it affects your day, call your dentist and explain the situation to them; it's possible they will see you sooner if you tell them you're in pain, particularly if it's a great deal of pain..
