Tooth Abscess, extraction next week

Question

I've begun taking erythromycin for my tooth abscess, i had to stop for twos because i had bad stomach pains and diarrhea, i restarted the medication, and will be done them tomorrow. I am only able to see the dentist in 7 days, will that be a problem? will the infection come back? or will there be no problems with the extraction? thank you for your help

You will be fine ..

once the extraction is over.

you may have to take more antibiotics to ensure the infection is gone

but that is only if you continue to have a problem.
