Tooth Ache ~ Need help!

What are some of the best methods/medicines to remove bad tooth aches?

Doctor believes its bacterial...i believe rooted in gums?

prescribed penicillin and tylenol w/ codeine, however its not working at all. Going on vacation tmmrw, any advice/suggestions are appreciated =]

  1. Try warm water and salt or water, salt & peroxide for some odd reason it really dulls the pain, that's what I used until I could get to my dentist, that and ori-gel (spelling).

    The penicillin will take from 2-3 days to really start working. In the mean time take what they gave you and try what I said, it really works!!

    I feel your pain though tooth aches are the worst!!!!

  2. IB profen worked kinda for me............ but nothing really works... i feel bad for u tho worst pain ever

  3. Get the stuff that babies use for teething for temporary relief so that is does not ruin your vacation, maybe it will take a while for the medicine to kick in. If not go back when you return from vacation. Also rinse your mouth with salt water in the meantime.
