Question:

Tooth Extraction question ... I had four out?

I'm not sure if this is how it's supposed to look because it's healing, but I had four out on Tuesday (last week), but where the teeth were extracted, the red spot looks smaller than it did when I had them out for the first or second day. Yesterday, there were white spots in the sockets, but now they are gone. If you're going to get dry socket, how long does it take for the pain to kick in? Info would be very appreciated!

  1. KIYA,

IF YOU WOULD GET DRY SOCKET IT WOULD BE IN THE FIRST 24-48 HOURS AFTER EXTRACTION. IT'S BEEN A WEEK,YOU ARE FINE AND THERE'S NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.

THE SMALL HEALING SPOTS WILL GRADUALLY GET SMALLER TILL THEY GO AWAY.

  2. if u had dry socket you would already know, the pain starts immediately and it is horrible.... so it really doesnt sound like dry socket...... you should call your dentist and tell them what it looks like, but i know its not dry coket cause you would be in pain by now...
