Tooth filling between overlapped teeth?

Question

I don't mean to sound retarded but Do dentists have procedures for cavities right in between seriously overlapped teeth ? How do they usually do it? Do they destroy the "good part" to get to the bad part?

if the teeth are overlapped there is always a way to get at it.  If its a front tooth they will usually go in from behind to access it.  If its a back tooth they go in from the top to get at it.
