Tooth filling causing odd feeling in head??

can an old filling give you head aches and a sensitive pulsing felling in the front of your head........ my tooth does not hurt that bad, but i can tell when i eat it does act up the symptoms i just discribed!

  1. Probably some re-decay around the filling....most times cannot be seen but just felt, need to get to the dentist to get it checked!


  2. Could be an abscess. More blood will be in that area so it may give you a headache or pulsating feeling. However i would recommend getting an x-ray of that tooth, sounds like the filling may need replacing. IF the tooth is infected, the pain can sometimes radiate in different areas. It is not uncommon to see people come in with a toothache and not be able to pinpoint exactly which tooth it is. If it is an upper tooth then it can cause headaches etc.

  3. rule out trigeminal nuralgia.

  4. It is probably your toothache  that cause your headache. I would check with the dentist immediately.
