Tooth hurts really bad i couldnt even go 2 bed last night cuase of the pain please help?!!!!!!!!!?

i dont know what this could be, i cant chew food of the right side of my mouth, or expose it to cold food, or liquid, becuase it just spazes out, and hurts. last night i could barley go 2 bed cuase of the pain, i looved into the mirror, and i do have 1 cavity where the tooth hurts. but i dont know if a cavity can cuase soooooooooooooooooooooooo much pain.

the cavity is probably down to the nerve which if this is true then it can be abscessed(an infection in the root pulp of your tooth)  I have had this happen a few times and the only thing that ever helped me was using nighttime orajel that stays on for a long time and i also used listerine on a q-tip and put it around the area that hurt!  But the only way to make it truly go away is to see a dentist so that you can get antibiotics and they will make it feel much better after a few days!

Use orajel and apply pressure to it every night.. Go see a dentist immediately!!!!!!!
