Tooth sensitivity question...?

I have a back bottom tooth that was filled over ten years ago..and suddenly about three days ago..it started hurting to brush the inside of it. Now today, it doesn't hurt to brush it anymore..but it's very sensitive to hot and cold liquids and hurts a little to bite down hard. Does this mean my filling is going bad or what? Pretty much the whole tooth is filled...so what could it be? I don't have dental ins...so I don't want to waste $$ going for something that could just be temporary pain. HELP! It's not HORRIBLE pain that I can't stand..just a little.

  1. you should visit your dentist. this can be because of the fractured filling or because of the secondary caries as your filling is 10 years old. you have to get the filling redone.jst now you have just hot and cold sensation but it can be really horrible if the infection sets in . if you want to know more you can visit www.identalhub.com. they have good articles relating your problem.
