Question:

Toothache or more sinister??

I know I am going to get an answer saying I should just see a dentist, and I am (I can't get in for 2 months where I live!), but in the meantime I was wondering if anyone has experienced pain in between the second back and back tooth on the top? I think there maybe a wisdom tooth coming through there as well. My questions are:

1. Could the wisdom tooth be impacted? Does it cause a lot of pain for the teeth there, or is it more mainly furthur up in the gum that hurts with impacting?

2. Could I have a cavity maybe in between the two teeth?

3. I can't see up there properly, but it maybe even looks like the back tooth may be dead?? Who does this commonly happen and what does it feel like?

Sorry for all the questions, and as I said, I AM going to a dentist, I just like to be prepared... (I had a bad dental experience when I was 6 :))

Thanks for your answers!

  1. It sounds like a cavity, especially if the tooth is sore rather then the gum. That said, wisdom teeth moving around may not be helping! Take it easy, monitor the pain and what you are taking to alleiviate it (this might help the dentist pin point the pain!).

Be prepared for bad news. If it isn't, you will be pleasantly surprised!

To the other person who answered, she didnt ask for a**wipes! Have a bit of consideration! C*** sucking, loser, no hoping, dropkick, lazy assed, time waster! How much do you not have a girlfriend/wife!

  2. You should go to a dentist.
