Question:

Toothache remedies? HELP!?

I have a molar with a broken crown and the pain is getting unbearable. I've tried taking Tylenol, Excedrin Migraine, and using Orajel and nothing is helping. I'm allergic to ibuprofen and naproxen.

I have a dentist appointment tomorrow afternoon. What can I do until then to control the pain? Anyone know of any home remedies for this?

  1. Cocodamol is ideal, but I don't know if you can get it OTC where you live. Codeine is a class C drug in most places.

Traditionally, clove oil was used for toothache, but if it's resisting paracetamol (tylenol) it might not work.

  2. i would stick to what you are using. although you cant stand it anymore, it is probably in your best interest because you dont want to mix your drugs. try taking what you have been before you go to bed and ice your face. good luck!
