Top 10 Enemies of Miami Heat's Superstar LeBron James: NBA Special Part 2
Article continued from Part 1
4- The Chicago Bulls’ Joakim Noah
The Chicago Bulls’ Joakim Noah pointed out some allegations on LeBron James about showboating some two years ago, when he was a part of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ roster. The very next moment many gossip-mongers turned their attention towards this new controversy
between these two stars. Though LeBron came out in public and said that there are no harsh feelings that I am carrying for the Bulls or against Noah, but deep inside he was not happy the way Noah commented on him and alleged him with showboating.
LeBron told the media regarding this incident when he said, “It's nothing against the Bulls, it's nothing against Joakim or any of those guys, and it’s not something that's new. We have fun, and we love to play the game of basketball. It's nothing about
showboating; that's not what we do. I think he was frustrated by the way he played, maybe, as an individual, didn't help his team win.”
In another incident which came on Friday, December 2009 when the Cleveland Cavaliers played against the Chicago Bulls at their home court, Quicken Loans Arena, during the fourth quarter when LeBron James was near at the free throw line and Noah said something
to him, soon LeBron crossed the line and walked towards him to answer his yelling. Though it never went further as the referee called a technical foul and the game was resumed, but the rivalry between these two demonstrated in a genuine fashion.
5- The Orlando Magic General Manager Otis Smith
The Orlando Magic General Manager Otis Smith made some critical comments about LeBron James as he thinks the two-time MVP (Most Valuable Player) is a 'more of a competitor', and usually these types of competitors should stay at one place rather roaming around
one franchise to another. Smith tried to pin down LeBron James’s arrival at the Miami Heat as he stated to the media and said, “The "great ones" do it on their own and "usually stay in one location.”
After listening to those comments, LeBron answered Smith with his season high 51 points against the Otis Smith’s Orlando Magic which was also resulted in a humiliating defeat for the Magic.
6- The Boston Celtics
The Boston Celtics have played a much bigger role frustrating LeBron James, who was much determined to win the NBA title in 2010. The Celtics ruined the dreams of Cleveland Cavaliers and heart LeBron in a big way, when they thrashed the Cavaliers with 4-2
victory in the best-of-seven first round play-off series.
Many pundits of basketball says if the Celtics never defeated the Cavaliers in those particular play-offs’ they would have went on to won the title, as the Cavaliers were virtually tremendous in 2009-2010’s regular season.
