    .........................................

The UK fans.....dont be fooled Khan wont fight Murray who is ONE year

older who is the British Champ..and its the best title out side of world Titles...both from Manchester khan lives 15 Mins away his next fight is in Manchester but wont fight him...khan is a name in the UK famous as none boxing fans know him..but Murray WOULD MURDER HIM..My mates and  the pro boxers around Manchester even said this years ago

    MURRUY WOULD KO HIM...

YES Khan is good he is a big name tho TV and none boxing fans see him as the best as they only no his name...ive been a fan for years khan is making money and they are happy to keep doing so..so why risk him with Murray...

Both are not even in the same class as the top boys in the lightweights

yet there might be good but not yet.

one of the UK Boxers been sent home from the games did not make the weight 4 pounds over.. well its right he gets £75.000 a year thats $150.000 why he has years to get ready for this... Frankie  Gavin he had a good chance of gold as is the world champ at lightweight  he was fav to win.silly well What Wannker he was wanting more money said or i will turn pro...

USA fans Saddam Ali is a good boxer and big things will come from him in the years to come...

well the John Murray Who i was Bigging up saying he beats khan..well his brother younger Murray Will win gold.

We had 8 boxers at the games now 7.

  7. 10, well i could give you one future lightweight champion: Amir Khan (champion-level material, but in my opinion he isn't that great)

  8. Here are 10 boxers who i personally expect to be known names sometime down the road, they aren't exactly a top 10 in order, just a list of 10 prospects.

    Antonio DeMarco

    Devon Alexander

    Victor Ortiz

Zaurbek Baysangurov (last name might be spelled wrong)

    Joe Greene

    Marcus Johnson

    Yuriorkis Gamboa

    Leo Miranda

    Andy Lee

    Darren Barker

  9. Lelouch doesn't know what he's talking about Diego Corrales is dead he died in a motorcycle accident everybody else on his list will be retiring in about 2yrs

  10. 10.) Jose Luis Castillo- The heart of this boxer is like a size of a  boulder

9.) Rafael Marquez- Like his brother, finesse and an exalt fighter.

8.) Israel Vasquez- Great guy, always entertaining and has a big heart.

7.) Edwin Valero- Long hair that suits him, power and fast starter.

6.) Juan Manuel Marquez- Counter punching is really fun to watch.

    5)  Ricardo Mayorga- No style but always wants to fight all-out even if he knows he don't stand a chance.

4.)  Ricky Hatton- Next Diego Corrales.

3.)  Oscar De La Hoya- Looks and entertainment suits him.

2.) Antonio Margarito- The "Diamond Chin" that has no brakes will excite fans.

1.) Manny Pacquiao- "The best pound for pound." Has it all except the looks.

  11. Andre Berto will be one of the 1st to break out, he's already won a "title" but he should be a big name within a couple years.

I've been very impressed with an amateur fighter named Demetrius Andrade, he will be competing for the U.S this year in Beijing. I've watched him spar in person and this kid is slick, has knockout power in both hands and is smart. Maybe i'm wrong but I honestly think he's going to do big things when he turns pro. Has anyone else seen him fight?

Rock Allen is another guy i'd be interested in watching in the next couple years. More slick than powerful but takes a punch better than most i've seen. His brother Tiger is another prospect I think has potential. I've seen Rock workout personally, I can vouch for him...hard worker, lots of heart.

Juan Urango is a BEAST at 140lbs, went the distance with Hatton like a previous poster said, I thought it was a much closer fight than the judges did. If he stays at 140lbs I think he could take over the division after Hatton and Paulie leave.

Amir Khan is becoming more and more well known but I still think he's a prospect, he has a lot of learning still to do. Very slick, very fast, decent punching power. He tends to make some fairly blatent mistakes though, he can get overly cocky (reminds me a little of Naseem Hamed) and tends to fire shots from un-popular angles. With that said, I think if he continues to work hard and fights decent fighters while at the same time not getting exposed, he has a bright future ahead of him.

Yiorkis Gamboa...WOW...in his most recent fight, I couldnt find a single flaw in his game. Granted he wasnt in against world class opposition and it didnt last long but I am VERY impressed with this him and his style. He's crowd pleasing, has the desire and the heart and punches hard with both hands, even his JAB is deadly. Love him.

Last but not least...me...haha only joking. Still debating whether or not to turn pro. I'm 24 and still get outboxed handedly by elite amateurs. I love the sport though.
