Top 10 things to do in Lyon?

Im going to visit 3 days Lyon France, to see a game in the Stade of Gerland Stadium. Could you please help me with top 10 things that i have to do in Lyon.

Well, watch your game, yes of course.

In Lyon, there are "péniches" all along the river banks, you can go out for lunch or dinner on one of those, they have delicious pizza!

Climb up the hill and visit the roman amphitheater and the basilica at the top.

I don't know the city very well, but apparently there is a museum that has an exposé on the human body right now that is very interesting.  They've injected some kind of silicone into real human muscles and put them on display... supposed to be great.

Good luck, it is a gorgeous place, I'm sure that once you get there you'll come up with tons of ideas on your own.

well, I'm from Lyon and you have the choice. There are 2 ways to discover the city. the 1st one is to act like every tourist and do overcrowded tourist attractions or to act like someone who wants to see less-tourist attractions! if you choose the first way to visit it I'd say:

1- go to the Parc de la tete d'or ("Golden Head Park" in English) which is one of the largest urban park in Europe w/ a little zoo, botanical gardens....

2- walk up the Fourviere Hill, visit the cathedral, walk to the Roman Theaters.

3- Visit the Vieux-Lyon ("Old Lyon") which is one of the oldest part of the city whith pedestrian streets, little shops, lots of restaurants (Lyon is the French capital of gastronomy)

4- Visit the Part-Dieu Mall and it's area. eventually go to the bar at the top of the tower (the one called "le crayon" [the pen] by Lyon inhabitants)

5- Go to Bellecour Square and walk on Republic Street to do shopping

6- Go to the game (of course) and never criticize the team 'coz EVERYONE supports it here!!!^^

7- Walk up the Croix-Rousse hill (the atmosphere up there is like in a village I think!)

8- walk along the Rhone River Bank from the Interpol World Headquarters to the end of the pedestrian bank then come back and take a boat on the River.

9- Go to Lyon on Dec.8th to celebrate w/ 4,000,000 visitors the "Lights Festival"

10- eat in a "bouchon" one of the typical restaurants of Lyon.

If you choose the second way to visit the city  then:

1- go to Villeurbanne (a very close surbub) and visit the Gratte-Ciel (Skyscrapers) area which is essentially a shopping area

2- go to the Miribel Park to swim in the Lake (15min. by car from Lyon)

3- try to see a typical Muppet show!

4- Go to the game !!!^^

5- visit the "Traboules" in  Vieux Lyon (Traboules are corridors and alleys IN houses which were use to hide several centuries ago)

6- visit the medieval village of Perouge (35min. by car)

7- Taste typical food from Lyon in a bouchon (once again!!^^)

8- check-in at the luxury Radisson hotel at the top of "Le Crayon" (the tower I talked about before)

9- visit the Opera (you have to make a reservation at the visitor center)

10- HAVE FUN IN LYON, FRANCE!!!!!!!^^ (one of the best cities and of the nicest cities in the whole country!!^^)
