Top 10 trainers of 2012 GB season - Part 3
Sir Henry Cecil trains a battalion of skilful horses. Take any big race, and you will see his runners securing notable places. Although he has many giants, the star of the camp is the unbeaten dashing colt, Frankel. The superstar has earned his trainer four
Group One victories so far this season.
The 3-year-old started his 2012 campaign in a great fashion at Newbury. After that, he faced no difficultly in conquering Royal Ascot and Glorious Goodwood. Owned by Khalid Abdulla, the bay colt shows no mercy to his opponents. He registered his latest win
in August, when beating Farhh by seven lengths at York.
Sir Henry Cecil does not rely entirely on Frankel. There are many other extraordinary horses in the company, who can do the trick at the highest level. Chachamaidee brought plenty of happiness to the yard last month, when winning the Group 1, Coolmore Fusaichi
Pegasus Matron Stakes.
The Newmarket trainer has a very good partnership with jockey Tom Queally. In nine of the last 10 big victories, Tom Queally rode Sir Henry Cecil’s horses. Both are due to make more outings together later in the season; thus, there is a lot more to come.
Another successful Newmarket trainer is Saeed Bin Suroor. So far in the ongoing season, the big fellow has achieved 70 victories, including three big ones. He teamed up with Frankie Dettori to take African Story to a classy win in the Group 2, Godolphin
Mile Sponsored By Etisalat in March 2012.
The duo continued the brilliant work, and guided Colour Vision to an excellent success in the Group 1, Gold Cup in June. Another mega triumph came to them in August, when Willing Foe did the trick in the Betfred Ebor (Heritage Handicap).
Although he does have the likes of Frankel and Camelot, there is no question over the talent and class his stable possesses. There are a few mighty dangerous horses in the camp, who can crush the opposition within no time.  Saeed Bin Suroor has bagged 1,683,396
pounds of prize money so far this season, and looks quite ready for more.
