  1. Water fountain

    Flower clock

    UN Building

    The lake waterfront

    Place Neuve

    St Peter's Cathedral

    Carouge

    Old Arsenal

    Town Hall

    Molard Tower

    Boat Cruise

    The Niton Rocks

    Le Corbusier Building

    Chillon Castle

    Paquis Baths

    Cable Car to La Saleve

    Minitrain round the old town

    Solar and Laser Clock

    Brunswick Monument

    Rent a bike

And that's just a start.  There are also plenty of little towns, villages, mountains that are easily accesible from Geneva by bus, train and the lake boats.

  2. I 've heard about Interlaken - Jungfraujoch, Top Of Europe (the highest railway station in Europe) but unfortunately, its not in Geneva! But I suggest, one must visit this place if visiting Switzerland :)

    Enjoy ur trip

You can take a tour of Geneva, guided, and you will see more than 20 things.

  4. je crois que c'est une question pour "Servette", n'est-ce pas?

hey man 20 main things, are you nuts? where from should i take the time to respond that thoroughly?

    1. do a trip by ship from Geneva to Castle Chillon. have your lunch either in Vevey or Montreux, visit the castle afterwards and travel back to Geneva - a nice day trip.

    2. if you like to see the Swiss mountains, do a trip to Zermatt to see the famous Matterhorn. if you get up early in the morning you will have enough time to do the trip in one day. the trip can be done by train, one way takes about 3 to 3¾ hours.

    for train schedules look here

    http://www.sbb.ch/en/index.htm

from: Geneva to: Zermatt (you have to change the train only once in Visp)

    3. from Geneva do an evening walk to Carouge (it's just on the outskirts of the town) and have your dinner there. it's pretty nice there and the look of the buildings and places is quite different from the ones in Geneva.

    4. you can visit the Reformation Wall and other important buildings like e.g. the Palace of Nations.

    here are some more suggestions

    5. in case you're interested in physics i would suggest to visit the CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research)

that's it from my side, the rest is up to you.
