Making a list of the best 25 players in the Spanish La Liga is no easy task, especially as this is a league believed to have more talent than any other league in the world.
The fact of the matter is that it is almost impossible to rate these players and choosing them to be in the list as it is very difficult to compare Iker Casillas to Lionel Messi or Cristiano Roanldo with Gerard Pique.
The article is written in the matter that if the whole league was drafted for a single season then which player would go at the top of the list and form is being ignored here as all the players in this list have class so the list goes as follows:
25. Nilmar (Villarreal)
Nilmar is the 26-year-old Brazilian that started out in 1999 with Internacional and after spending two years in their youth academy he moved to the first team squad. Then he made a move to Lyon in 2004, had a single season loan spell to Corinthians and then
moved there, then back to Internacional and then to Villarreal in 2009 and this is where he currently resides.
He has made 44 appearances with the club and has scored 18 goals as a striker. He has also been a part of the Brazilian national team and has made 23 appearances for them and netted 9 goals.
The striker initially had to struggle when he came to Europe and started playing with the French Lyon, but has been giving exemplary performances since his move to Villarreal. He has become a key member of the squad and has built up a great partnership with
Giuseppe Rossi and this partnership has been the key force behind the Yellow Submarines moving to the top of the table in Spanish Football.
This Brazilian player has immense vision, extraordinary finishing abilities, good pace and amazing technical abilities. This consistency from the player has gifted Villarreal with three assists and five goals in the first eight La Liga games.
24. Ever Banega (Valencia)
Ever Banega is an Argentinean player who currently plays for Valencia and is only 22 years old. He started his career in 2000 with Boca Juniors and after spending an astonishing seven years in the youth squad he moved to the first team squad in 2007.
After starring in 28 matches with the club and remaining goalless, he moved to Valencia in 2008. He plays as a midfielder and right now is on a loan spell with Atletico Madrid.
He has made 49 appearances for Valencia and scored two goals while in his loan spell he has made 24 appearances with one goal.
He has also been a part of the Argentinean national team form and has made four appearances without scoring a single goal.
In January 2008, Valencia paid a staggering transfer fee of 18 million Euros for the player to come to Spain, Banega was only nineteen years old at the time
