Real fans hang in there! thats called loyalty! Other drivers respect Jr and hang out with him after the race. He gives younger guys a chance to succeed in racing in other divisions. Commentators talk about him, sports writers write about him, people listen to him and read about him and buy his stuff. Look at the whole man and not just what he is doing on the track for petes sake! Thats why they talk about him, thats why we vote him most popular every year. He has the talent of an Earnhardt and the personality of Bill Elliott that makes him a winner in my book and apparently in alot of others books as well.

The only thing that Jr. has is a last name and a huge fan base. Jr. does not have a personality.  

As far as the his fans, they are so phony, now they cheer for HMS.  They used to say that JJ was only good because he had all the HMS money and resources and yet now they use the same excuse as to why HMS is such a good organization.

Would Sr. have sold out to HMS?

Are there any REAL fans that stick with their drivers, I am fan of many not just Jr and have been following Nascar for over 30 years and this is one of the most dumb questions I have answered, so give me the thumbs down already..hahaaha

Not tonight it was all Kyle Busch, had people over here tonight that actually listened to all the stuff said and Kyle Busch got the most air time tonight not Dale Jr until he started to rally there towards the end..DW needed Toyota Pom Poms he was their biggest cheerleader..

Agree. I get sick to my stomach hearing him being talked about non-stop whether he's 1st or 41st.

Some people say they talk a lot about Kyle Busch, but at least he's winning races. Jr. wouldn't even got a top 10 but was able to save fuel at the end and stay out.

They need to talk about guys like Burton, Bowyer, Hamlin, Gordon...and others that run up front and can win also.

It all comes down to the popularity thing again.  I remember when Sr was the one everyone came and watched the races for and the media treated him the same way.  Then it was Gordon.  I use to get sick of Gordon and Sr being talked about.  Now, it's Jr, Bush, or whoever made the biggest noise lately.  Popularity Popularity  Just as it's not what you know but who you now.  It's not how good you do.  It's how Popular a driver is.

Well what do you expect he is the son of what many consider to be the greatest of all time. while you may not like it he is the most popular driver in the sport.

Well he did have the most laps,  and from coming from 22 to 5th,. is a acomplishment.   I would talk about it too.  And he didn't get the most coverage,  It think it was the same all the way around.
