11- Pavel Nedved (Czech Republic)
Perhaps the greatest player the Czech Republic has ever produced, Pavel Nedved holds the distinction of being the last player who scored in the Cup-Winners Cup while he was at Lazio. But the Czech further improved his already growing standing in Italy after
moving to Turin giants Juventus. Nedved was the most talented attacking midfielder during his time at Juventus and notched up many honors there. Sadly though, Pavel Nedved never achieved a European trophy, something a player of his talent deserved. He was
booked in the 2003 semifinal win over Real Madrid that made him miss the Champions League final against the eventual Champions A.C Milan. Some say that had the long dread-lock haired midfielder been there, Juve would surely have won the Champions League. Ironically,
Pavel Nedved won the Golden Ball on the same year, something that Pavel Nedved still feels would have looked better with a winners’ medal.

10 - Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Sweden)
Let’s just ignore Juventus’s shame of the Calciopoli scandal and it will make Zlatan Ibrahimovic a league title winner of the last seven seasons starting from Ajax then Juventus then Inter Milan and later on at Barcelona. The Swede striker was signed in
ultimate secrecy by Juventus on transfer day deadline in 2004. ‘Ibracadebra’ began to mature as a player after arriving at Turin and on the road to his maiden Scudetto campaign, received the Capocannoniere as well. He left for Inter Milan later on where he
produced the same goal flurry he was famous for at Juventus before signing for Spanish giants Barcelona in a move that saw Samuel Eto’o go the other way. He returned to Italy to A.C Milan this season on a loan spell and Milan will be hoping that the talented
striker continues his great goal scoring form for the Rossoneri.

9 - Gabriel Batistuta (Argentina)
The Argentinean still remains a Serie A legend. He was viewed as a big gamble by Mario Cecchi Gori when he was brought to Florence but ended 10 years at the club with 150 Serie A goals. The Argentinean was denied a possible Scudetto with the Viola in 1999
through injury but finally laid his hands on the silverware in 2001 with Roma. He has his own golden statue at Franchi that proves his greatness and fame in Italy.

8 - Ronaldo (Brazil)
The Brazilian striker’s 5 year stay at Inter came to an end in tears after Inter practically threw away the title on the last day of the season. Ronaldo’s Inter career was largely dominated by heartbreak and ‘nearly theres’. He scored 49 goals in 68 games.
He walked out on his club in 2002 after winning the World Cup with Brazil and joined Real Madrid. Ronaldo was a prodigious talent and could have been even greater but serious knee injuries put a halt to his career and he returned to Brazil.

7 - Kaka (Brazil)
The phenomenal Brazilian usurped another Milan legend Manuel Rui Costa and made himself ever present in Milan’s starting eleven. His great dribbling, excellent vision and creativity saw him become one of the best players in the world. In 2007, Kaka won the
Golden boot along with a Champions League winner’s medal. Kaka eventually moved to Real Madrid for €68 million in 2009 but his name is still famous in the streets of Milan.

6 - Falcao (Brazil)
The Brazilian was the best foreign signing after the re-opening of borders in 1980 and Falcao became the 8th king of Rome. He had an aura of subtlety and substance surrounding him and was the architect behind Roma’s 1983 Scudetto. At that time,
Falcao was the highest paid player in Italy but left the club after a knee injury and differences with Dino Viola, the owner of Roma.
