Pato was dearly missed by the Champions after he missed a host of games through injures, and he proved his worth in the time he was on the pitch. The 21-year-old is certainly one of the deadliest strikers in the world and his goals to games ratio is definitely
a thing to be proud of for any team. Despite a start-stop campaign, the Brazilian managed to score 16 goals in 33 appearances for the club.

The 31-year-old started the 2010/11 season where he had left of in the previous campaign. Cossu has been one of the most consistent players in the Serie A this season. Arguably one of the best players in the country to effectively fit into the trequartista
position, the former Verona winger had the highest number of assists in the ongoing season, while he never let down his teammates when called upon for defensive duties. Cossu was rewarded with the club’s player of the season award for his impressive performances
on the field.

One of the most underrated performers of the league, Mauri had another hugely successful campaign with the club. His performances might have gone unnoticed amongst the football pundits but the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775 fans did make a note of them. The Italian international
not only scored six goals in 30 matches but his overall contribution in the midfield game was commendable. His superb dribbling and passing was the key to club’s success this season.

Unarguably the best player in the FIFA World Cup 2010 but could not match his performances in the Serie A this season. However, his creativity in the midfield made him one of the most promising players of the current campaign. The 26-year-old was one of
the best performers for the Nerazzurri and was always a threat on set pieces. His vision and passing make him undoubtedly the best attacking midfielder in the world. Despite missing a handful of matches through injuries, the Dutch international managed to
play 38 matches and scored 7 goals in all competitions this season.

Serie A was blessed with a lot of quality full-backs this season and Maggio was unarguably the best of the lot. The 29-year-old adjusted very well to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Walter-c36580 Mazzarri’s system and switched effectively into the right midfield or the right-back position. The
player’s surging runs down the flanks terrified even the best of the defences in the league and scored 4 goals in 33 appearances this season.
11. Gokhan Inler (Udinese)
The Swiss midfielder was the driving force behind the club’s qualification to next season’s UEFA Champions League. Where the Zebrette attacking force took all the plaudits this term, the contribution the 26-year-old has made is amazing. Inler was a constant
shield for the Bianconeri backline and his tough tackling exploits, combined with bundles of energy, were immensely fruitful for the fourth placed Udinese. The former FC Zurich star made 36 appearances for the club and also chipped in with three crucial goals.
