Top Colleges for a major in Neuroscience?

Of course there is Cornell, and Columbia. Ivies aside though, what other colleges are well know and rank high as having most of their student pick science related majors?

Some other's I have heard are:

UCLA

Vanderbilt

Tufts

Any more?

My alma mater has a great science program (I'm in a neuroscience ph.d program) --> Bucknell University.  Other colleges I know that have good programs are Johns Hopkins, Pitt (University of Pittsburgh), Rice, UCSD (great research department), University of Michigan Ann Arbor (amazing numbers of publications every year), Michigan State (not quite as well-known, but adequate for an undergrad), University of Maryland College Park, UCLA, Brown, Colgate, Brandeis (my first PI did her undergrad there), Northwestern, and Duke.  That's just some suggestions.

  3. eugene oregon - fantastic neuroscience program and lab.  a friend of mine is getting a phd there in the subject.  i think it's the university of oregon at eugene, but it is in eugene oregon.  check it out.
