Top Defensemen for fantasy NHL draft?

Question

I won't be getting dmen in the early rounds but rather forwards, this is just to know who's looking solid and see if i can get a steal later on. I put Phaneuf up there number one choice, then lidstrom, then many others to choose from. Anyone have their own list?

Don't forget about souray.  If he stays healthy he could really log some points up for you.

I like Tomas Kaberle and I always seem to get him at a decent later pick.

Check out his stats for the last four or five years. Tons of assists and he is becoming a more confident goalscorer.

Another great pick is Mattias Ohlund. Excels in four on four overtime.

Lidstrom will get you more points than Phaneuf.

Green, Chara, Rafalski, Kronwall, Burns, Coburn are all good choices too.
