Top Five(s) List For English Football: Premier League and Beyond (Part 1)
Here is a list of the teams topping the ranks in the English Premier League:
1. In first place (with 25 points after 10 matches) is Chelsea, with the Blues securing thirteen points in the last six games. Chelsea is still comfortable at the top of the English Premier League table and
this position was further rectified by their last win against the Blackburn Rovers, which gave the Blues a 2-1 win. (Right behind them in second place on the table are Arsenal, sitting comfortably after their 1-0 win against West Ham United.)
2. Then comes Manchester United with them having gained twelve points in the last six matches. The Red Devils are still unbeaten this season as they have gone through ten matches in the Premiership without accepting defeat.
Their last match came with the delight of the Red Devil fans as Old Trafford was roaring with joy as they beat Tottenham Hotspur with a scoreline to two goals to nil.
3. In fourth place are the Citizens (Manchester City), who have slipped from the second spot to the fourth in the league table as they have six points in the last six fixtures as well. Manchester City has miserably lost both
their last two matches in the English Premier League, as their last match was a disappointing defeat against the Wolverhampton Wanderers with the scoreboards reading two to one.
4. West Bromwich Albion are on the fifth spot in the Premier League table with eleven points in their last six matches. The newly promoted club this season are working wonders in managing to stay at the top. However, they lost
1-2 to Blackpool FC in their last fixture.
5. Then comes Everton, as they have eleven points in their last six matches as well. The Toffees have definitely put their disastrous start of the season behind them and are going for the top as they have jumped eight positions
in the Premier League table this week.
The Best Ranking Football League Teams:
Cardiff City is a Championship team with sixteen points in their last six fixtures and is at the very top. They moved to the top spot after winning their fifth match in a row at their own home ground against Norwich City with a score of three goals to one.
Portsmouth in another Championship team with sixteen points in their last six matches. The Pompey have had four successive wins, extending their unbeaten run to 7 games, and are just a point away from their playoff position as they won the last match on
their home-ground against Nottingham Forest with a score of two to one.
