In the first part of this article, we started off with the effort of compiling a list of the top Liverpool performers for the ongoing season. We will continue with that task in its following part.
Raheem Sterling
Sterling is a 17-year old boy who has taken the entire English football by surprise this term. His age, feeble strength and diminutive stature might not be on his side, but the talented winger has more than just made up for these impediments by his brisk
movement, coruscating runs and remarkable control on the ball.
Many of the 17-year olds in football will be more than happy to bide their time at the bench, relishing the opportunity to be in the presence of the senior players. For Sterling, it is a totally different story altogether.
The English International has already cemented his place in the Reds starting line-up. Not just that, at times, he has been their best performer upfront, continuously creating chances for his fellow attackers and creating all kinds of problems for the defenders
with his quick feet movement.
The forward is still yet to open his goal account at Liverpool, but his influential presence in the team has served to ease Brendan Rodgers selection woes in the frontline.
His phenomenal start to the 2012/13 term did not go unnoticed even for the national manager, Roy Hodgson, who named him in his 24-man party for England’s World Cup Qualifiers.
Sterling has made his presence felt right from the start of the season. His blistering form coupled with his notable contribution towards the team has earned him a place in our list.

Steven Gerrard, or Liverpool’s mister dependable, has once again showed to the football world what he is made of. The talismanic midfielder might be approaching the twilight of his career, but his zeal and commitment of giving it his best all the time has
not faded.
And yet again, he is giving his best for Liverpool this season. The English International has been involved in the thick of things at the centre of the field alongside Joe Allen and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nuri-Sahin-c28251, continuously feeding opportunities for his attackers.
Besides that, he has made valuable contribution himself upfront, scoring goals against Norwich City and rivals, Manchester United.
Gerrard has shown no signs of uneasiness with his manager’s new style of play, despite its alien nature to the English way. He is leading his young looking team by example and has done enough in the preliminary stages of the season to win a place in our
list.
Suso
The 18-year old Spaniard was signed by Liverpool in 2009, but he only came into prominence this season.
The talented schemer may not have received the lions share when it comes to appearances for his team, but has been nothing short of exceptional in his brief cameo. Already, the Reds are contemplating tying him up on a long term deal at Anfield, as the midfielder’s
style of play is well in conformity with what Brendan Rodgers is trying to implement at the club.
Suso has got what it takes to become a star player for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 based on what we have seen so far from him. Whether or not he earns that status is yet to be seen, but he has truly earned our recognition as being one of the best Reds performers so far this
term.
