Top Performers from the Wednesday’s games - NBA Play-offs 2010-11
Miami Heat vs. Philadelphia 76ers
Dwyane Wade
Veteran guard, Dwyane Wade notched up 26 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists as the Miami Heat thrashed the Philadelphia 76ers for a 97-91 victory at the American Airlines Arena. The Sixers were fighting for survival, in the first round of the best-of-seven
games series. However, All-Star Dwyane came in their way and sent the side for a first round exit. Wade scored 12 points in the last quarter and spearheaded Miami for their fourth post-season victory.
Chris Bosh
Prolific forward, Chris Bosh was quite impressive with his supportive role and finished with 22 points and 11 boards, to surge the Miami side to victory. Philadelphia put up a spirited performance but the invincible duo, Bosh and Wade ousted them convincingly.
Andre Iguodala
Philadelphia’s forward-guard, Andre Iguodala posted a double-double by scoring 22 points and gathering 10 rebounds. Despite his effort, Philadelphia was unable to win the match against the vigorous Heat side.
San Antonio Spur vs. Memphis Grizzlies
Manu Ginobili
On the verge of saving his team from a first round exit, San Antonio’s guard, Manu Ginobili played outstandingly with a game-high 33 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists, to outshine the resurgent Memphis Grizzlies in over-time. The game was filled with exciting
turn-arounds when Ginobili’s back to back free throws in the defining moments of the overtime, confirmed a splendid win.
Tony Parker 
All-Star Tony Parker provided huge support with his 24 points and 9 assists, to collaborate in avoiding the elimination for the Spurs. Parker assailed a couple of successive jumpers in the beginning of over-time, to set a platform for the Ginobili for a
tremendous finish.
Zach Randolph
Versatile forward, Zach Randolph who led the Grizzlies from front in their previous three victories, was impressive once again. Randolph racked up a team-high 26 points and clutched 11 boards, however, his effort was crushed by a buzzer beater from beyond
the arc that took the game in over-time.
Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Denver Nuggets
Kevin Durant
Scoring machine, Kevin Durant posted another top performance of his career and led the Oklahoma City Thunder to excel in the second round of the post-season after a thrilling 100-97 victory.
Nuggets Coach, George Carl while commenting on Durant, said, "Durant made some very difficult shots. I don't care how many guys we put him he's probably gonna make those shots."
Durant landed a game-high 41 points and gathered 5 re-bounds, as the Oklahoma City crushed the next round hopes for the Denver Nuggets. The vibrant Kevin was absolutely unstoppable in the last quarter, when the Nuggets were leading the game. He smashed the
opposition with 16 points to clinch a magnificent victory.
Russell Westbrook
Russell Westbrook continued the action with the ‘Star of the Night’ Durant, to notch up 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists, to seal a brilliant victory. Both teams were playing with sheer aggression, as Westbrook’s support fired up the Thunder side for
an exciting pull-off.
