At Juventus, he was a fail winger but then Arsene Wenger decided to sign the player for the Gunners in 1999. Wenger used him as a central striker and this move paid off as the player soon realized all the potential that he had in him. At Arsenal, he became
one of the most prolific goal scorers that the world had ever seen.
He was a key member of the ‘Invincibles’ and this was the team that went unbeaten for almost two seasons. Thierry Henry scored two hundred and twenty six goals in his three hundred and sixty nine appearances for Arsenal, thus becoming a legend.
He then made a move to the Spanish Giants, Barcelona in 2007 and played on the wing position and still gave some good results. He moved onto playing another season with Barcelona after that and played alongside Lionel Messi and Samuel Etoo.
This trio almost has a hundred goals between them and they gave Barcelona six trophies. This came at the time of the emergence of Pedro. So, Henry’s play time was reduced, as a result of which he decided to move to the MLS and play for the New York Bulls.
He has also been an amazing and integral part of the French national team and has played in tournaments like the World Cups and the European Championships for them.
