Question:

Top Thrill Dragster & Wicked Twister at Cedar Point and Ohio?

I just came back from Cedar Point and it was great but the lines were longer than one's in Disney World and almost the same price. Is the top thrill dragster really the fastest coaster and tallest in the world because thats what they said? Did you like it? My dad hated it. My mom and brothers were too chicken to go on it. How do you like it. It is weird because Cedar Point is in the middle of nowhere. I would think they would put it like in Orlando. When I was going there it was all country. I liked Columbus, I went to the zoo. Cinn is really dirty tho. I'm from Florida so there is alot of theme parks there, I live in metro ATL now tho. Wicked Twister is just like De Ja VU from Six Flags Atlanta except for the twist. Did Cedar Point copy them? The only difference is that De Ja VU always never worked and now they got rid of it. What are your feedback on my comments. Thanks!

  1. im goin to cedar point in august... i think cedar point was made b4 six flags ........six flags bought amusement parks to make six flags . . . . 1892 is the year cedar point opened its 116 years old.

  2. cedar point didnt copy that roller coaster, most amusment parks have a ride exactly like that, it doesnt mean they copied. six flags in ohio has one like that. The dragster is the most intense ride ive been on and i love it. I like the maverick and millenium force just as much but they're all different.

  3. Cedar Point is VERY popular during the summer and brings a ton of tourists during the summer months while it is open.  What makes Cedar Point even better is that Lake Erie is right there on three sides of you.  Just because Cedar Point is in the middle of nowhere doesn't mean it is a bad place to go....Cedar Point is 116 years old.  Back in the day, being on the lake would have been a busy place, so technically they did build it in a bigger place.  The land that Disney World sits on definietly did not look like that 116 years ago.  I live 30 minutes south of Sandusky in the country and I can honestly say I would rather NOT live in a town like Atlanta or Orlando.  Yes, living in town has its advantages, but living in the country means no neighbors that can look in your windows from their house and it is QUIET!

Top Thrill Dragster was the first coaster like it, but I think a Six Flags now has something that is slightly taller and slightly faster (just tall and fast enough to beat Dragster...barely).  I personally don't ride it because I am afraid of heights, but everyone that I know that has rode it has loved it.  Many amusement parks have something like Wicked Twister.  I personally really like Wicked Twister (I would like it even better if they provided a step stool for my short-legged self to get into the seat).
