  1. Is it flaky and peeling? Or does it look like some kind of nostril discharge?

If it's some type of nostril discharge, then she probably has an active case of pastuerella, a common infectious agent affecting rabbits.. Your vet will probably just prescribe antibiotics, which are pretty cheap.  If it's flaky with hair loss, then you may be looking at some kind of mite.

If they're sharing a cage, then make sure you are 100% certain that they are not injures from fighting. If there's any doubt of that, separate them and see if that fixes it..

Rabbits do go downhill very quickly, so she can go from being fine one day, to dead 2 days later from something that would've been a minor illness. While a dog or cat can handle being sick a bit better, if a rabbit quits eating and it's GI tract quits moving, then it can die very easily of an otherwise treatable condition.

I would just feed it's regular rabbit food and add in some hay if you don't already. I would also separate her out from the other rabbit if they are housed together so that you are 100% certain she's eating enough and that he's not eating most of the food.

With veterinary care, usually the sooner you get them in the cheaper it will be. Right now, you could probably schedule a regular visit in a couple of days instead of having to rush to an emergency clinic. The medication for mites is pretty cheap, antibiotics are pretty cheap. If you wait too long though, then you'll be looking at an emergency visit to save your rabbit..

  2. It sounds like your rabbits are fighting.  They need to be separated since rabbits are very independant and will fight if kept together.

If there is some kind of discharge along with the sores, you could have a case of snuffles.

  3. you might think about separating them first, (if you haven't already) then if she is acting fine I wouldn't panic, but try to get her to the vet as soon as possible,It could be something as simple as allergies, but just to be sure it would be a good idea to remove the other just in case....
