Top eight talents in the Bundesliga: Summer transfer window (Part 2)
After elaborating on the talents of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Diego-c11058 and Mario Goetze in the first part of this featured series for Bundesliga talents, it is now time to shed some light on the rest of the footballer’s in our list...
Papiss Demba Cisse (Freiburg)
Cisse’s admirers want him to move to the English Premier League but Freiburg are adamant on making it difficult for any possible suitors to lure their Senegalese striker away from the Bundesliga. At just 26 years of age, Cisse
has been banging in goals left-right and centre in the German top division. He netted 22 goals for Freiburg, a tally which was only two goals short of Mario Gomez’s 28 goals for Bayern Munich in the 2010-2011 season.
Not only that, the Senegalese striker is on record to the media as he said that it is a dream for him to play in the English Premier League. Experts have already compared the tall and muscular Cisse to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786.
His physical approach to football is best suited to the English game and therefore one can expect either Tottenham or Blackburn to snap up the African striker before the summer transfer window comes to a close on 1st of September, 2011.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Anatoliy-Tymoshchuk-c5539 (Bayern Munich)
Tymoshchuk came to the German league with a staunch reputation of being the new ‘Stefan Effenberg”. However that reputation quickly disappeared as he fell out of favor with Louis Van Gaal at Bayern Munich. Tymoshchuk who is originally
a defensive midfielder has been played in central defense at Bayern.
The German giants have been woeful in their treatment of the Ukrainian midfielder but Tymoshchuk has not complained one bit. In January when talk of him moving away to Spanish football or for that matter English football was ripe,
the veteran midfielder quietly stated that Munich felt like home to him.
However Van Gaal has now parted his ways with Bayern and Jupp Heynckes is adamant on bringing in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arturo-Vidal-c6760 from Bayer Leverkusen. If that is the case then Tymoshchuk’s time has come to an end at Bayern Munich. At 32 years of
age with plenty of UEFA Champions League experience, the Ukrainian is a good transfer target for the likes of Fulham and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019 in the English Premier League. Villarreal are also thought to be interested in his services and it is quite likely that he will
leave the Allianz Arena by August of 2011.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mladen-Petric-c26139 (Hamburg)
The Croatian trequartista was highlighted quite extravagantly in the press when http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Croatia-c2879 ended England’s dreams of qualification for the European Championships in 2008 but since then Petric has gone off the boil. The Hamburg midfielder
is now seeking a move away from German league to prove himself on the bigger stage preferably the UEFA Champions League.
His talents are well documented already as he can play in a 4-3-3 as a central midfielder or in a 4-3-2-1 as an offensive midfielder as well. A price tag of around about 10 million pounds has been marked on the midfielder by Hamburg
and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 as well as Atletico Madrid are thought to be interested in signing the 30 year old.
To be continued in the third part of this series…
