Top fifteen imports to Serie A (Part 1)
Serie A, the Italian Football League is considered to be one of the best leagues in the world as they are ranked right behind the Spanish La Liga and the English Premier league.
Obviously some clubs needs some outside imports to improve their teams and with time there have been a lot of amazing additions to Serie A.
So here is a list of the top fifteen imports of Serie A of all time.
Lilian Thuram
We start our list with Lilian Thuram, as he was a great defender that played for both Juventus and Parma in Serie A. 
Thurman was moved from Monaco to Parma in the transfer summer of 1996 and he spent the next five years in Parma and won the Italian Super cup, the UEFA Cup and the Coppa Italia.
He ended with a hundred and sixty-three appearances for Parma and scored a single goal.
He was then transferred to Juventus in 2001 and his transfer fee was reported to be twenty-two million pounds.
While playing for Juventus he was considered to be one of the best defenders in Serie A and with ‘the old lady’ he won two Coppa Italia and two Serie A. He made a hundred and sixty-two appearances and scored a single goal during this period.
Cafu
Cafu is thought to be one of the most supreme right backs in football history, he signed with Roma in 1997 and without any further ado he started show casing his talents.
He won an Italian Supercup and a Serie A Title with Roma and made two hundred and seventeen appearances and scored eight goals.
Then Cafu transferred to A.C. Milan and he literally won everything.
The list of achievements of Milan with Cafu goes in the order, Italian Super Cup, Champions League, Serie A, FIFA Club World Cup and UEFA Supercup.
Cafu did this in a hundred and sixty-one appearances and scored four goals with his time with ‘The Devils.’
David Trezeguet
David Trezeguet spent ten years with the ‘White - Blacks’ and is ranked fourth in line in Juventus’s all time highest goal scorers.
Trezeguet transferred from Monaco and after the Juventus scandal that saw the club moving to Serie B, the player decided to remain loyal to the team and see to it that they returned to Serie A.
He made three hundred and eighteen appearances with the club and scored a hundred and seventy-one goals.
Michel Platini
Michel Platini is considered to be one of the greatest French football players in history and had a difficult prologue to Italian style of football.
Platini was always a target for the Italian media and actually came close to leaving Italy at the end of his first season there.
While playing for Juventus the player won a Champions league, a Coppa Italia and two Serie A titles.
He also scored the 1985 Champions league winning goal against Liverpool and brought the Champions league title to Juventus for the first time in the Club’s history.
 Platini made two hundred and twenty-two appearances and scored a hundred and three goals for Juventus.
Gabriel Batistuta
Gabriel Batistuta is one of the best strikers to come to Serie A from Argentina. He is a Fiorentina legend and got transferred to the club from the Boca Juniors.
This transfer took place as the Fiorentina president was overwhelmed with the player’s talents.
He made three hundred and twenty-five appearances for the club and scored two hundred and nine goals in his time there.
The player wanted to win the Champions League and the Serie A titles so he got himself transferred to Roma.
Batistuta’s dreams did come true in Roma when he won a Serie A title and made eighty-one appearances with the cub and had scored thirty-seven goals.
In the end the player was loaned to Inter Milan but failed to make a mark on the club as he only scored two goals in twelve appearances.
