  1. If they improve a lot during the season.  They have a good young team.

And their results against Geelong, and maybe Hawthorn if they keep going the way they are, aren't much of an indicator, because most teams will see the same fate.  Looking at the Grand Final last year the supposedly second top team went down by 120 points.  So you can't use Geelong as a measuring stick, if they are on their game the week they play you it's just bad luck.

If the Bombers can get some confidence back and play like they did the first round I think they are a chance.  Hopefully they beat Saints by a bit this week.

  2. No.

They wont even make the secon four.

  3. Its going to be interesting and the bombers will be in the 8 but not the top four. I think the top four will be:

    1. Geelong

    2. Hawthorn

    3. Bulldogs

    4. Sydney

  4. Nope

    my 4 are

    1.Geelong

    2.Hawthorn

    3.Sydney

    4.St.Kilda

  5. Nope, sorry

  6. i think hawthorn, geelong and bulldogs and a battle between collingwood, sydney and St Kilda for 4th.

  7. You have 2 out of 4, st.kilda are overrated and ess are not good enough, surely even bomber fans know that.

  8. No. Neither are Saints unless they lift. It's still way to early to tell who' in the top 4. Hawks could have a freak run of injuries, and then they're out. Bulldogs could have a massive slide again and lose 9 out of the last 10 games. You never know.

At the moment though, my top 4 is:

    Geelong

    Hawks

    Bulldogs

    Pies

  9. There's always a chance, especially when were only playing round 4.. Stay away from the injury bug and the gods could bestow you with a premiership chance.... Just look at Port Power last year... I think everyone was a little confused how they managed to get there.. So chin up Essendon Fans, I think your form is fine, improving and you can use an underdog title to your advantage!

May the swans see there also!

I aways love a Bloods v Bomber battle..

  10. As much as i like your top 4, I don't think Essendon or St. Kilda will be in the top 4 at the end of the season.

Nice thought though, from a vic point of view.

  11. 1. Geelong

    2. Sydney

    3. St. Kilda

    4. Hawthorn

  12. NO WAY

    1. Geelong

    2. Hawthorn

    3. Western Bulldogs

    4. Brisbane

But we are still a long way off until September

  13. I think they are still in rebuild mode,, so you should be stoked if they make the 8. Top 4 will not happen, sorry.

  14. i would defently have geelong and hawthorn op there but with heaps of rounds to go anything can happen.. such as injuries and all... essendon have done alot of hamstrings already and with no lucas i dont think they will do as good as they would have. my overall thoughts are cats, hawks, dogs and collingwood... brissy and adelaide wouldnt be fare of...i want to know whats goin on with the power...

  15. no and neither are the saints given their current form

  16. no no no they are a decent sort of side but as has already been seen they just cant sustain the type of footy they are playing at the moment

way too many soft tissue injuries and history has proved any team with the amount of injuries just wont make it

if they keep this up they wont make the 8
