Teuvo Teravainen (Chicago Blackhawks)
Teuvo Teravainen, a Finnish international player, was picked in the first round of this year’s National Hockey League (NHL) draft by Chicago Blackhawks, selected 18th overall.
The 18-year-old player who currently plays for Jokerit team in his native country can be expected to go a long way as he is a very skillful player, full of talent and abilities.
Last season in SM-liiga, the forward featured in 40 games and scored 11 goals, 7 assists for a total of 18 points.
Stefan Elliott (Colorado Avalanche)
21-year-old defenseman is a prospect of Avalanche, who had drafted him in the second round of the 2009 Draft at 49th, after he played five years in the Western Hockey League (WHL) for Saskatoon Blades.

After Saskatoon, he played two years in the American Hockey League for Lake Erie Monsters, before making his NHL debut in the 2011-2012 season.
Vancouver, British Columbia born Elliot starred in 39 games for the team and scored 4 goals and 9 assists for a total of 13 points.

T.J. Tynan (Columbus Blue Jackets)
An American ice hockey player, T.J. Tynan is a prospect of Columbus Blue Jackets, who had drafted him 67th overall in the 2011 NHL Draft. Though he has not got a touch of professional hockey yet as he has been playing college hockey only,
still the 20year-old has done well enough to be considered future star.
Currently playing for university of Notre Dame, Tynan has also represented Under-20 Team USA in the 2012 World Junior Under-20 Championships. He scored one goal and three assists in the event for total of 4 points in 6 games to be prominent in the
tournament.
Radek Faksa (Dallas Stars)
An 18-year-old ice hockey star from Czech Republic, Faksa is a prospect of Dallas Stars in the NHL, as he was drafted in the first round of the 2012 Draft, selected at 13th overall.
He had a great season with the Kitchener Rangers last year as he scored at an average of one point per game, by scoring 28 goals, 39 assists and 67 total points in 67 games.
Opava, Czech Republic native has also represented his country at numerous international events at the junior level and can be expected to achieve laurels for his country and the club in the future.
Brendan Smith (Detroit Red Wings)
A Canadian professional ice hockey player, who is one of the top prospects of the NHL, was picked up Red Wings in the 2007 NHL Draft in the first round, selected at 27th overall.
The 23-year-old defenseman has been making a progress as he was playing college hockey just two years ago and last season he made his NHL debut, after spending two years in the AHL for Grand Rapids Griffins.
He showed a satisfactory performance in the first season by scoring 1 goal and 6 assists for total of 7 points in 14 games but lot more can be expected from him.
