Roman Josi (Nashville Predators)
A Swiss defenseman, Roman Josi is a defenseman who is currently associated with the Nashville Predators in the National Hockey League (NHL).
22-year-old blue liner was picked in the second round of the 2008 NHL Draft by the team, selected 38th overall, before it he started his career in the Swiss junior league for SC Bern Jr. and went to American Hockey League (AHL) to play for Milwaukee
Admirals, before making his NHL debut in 2011-2012 season.
Josi has also represented Switzerland in many international competitions including 2010 Winter Olympic Games.
Stefan Matteau (New Jersey Devils)
The Canadian/American international ice hockey player, Stefan Matteau was selected in the first round of the 2012 NHL Draft by New Jersey Devils, who picked him up 29th overall.
The 18-year-old left winger is a part of United States National Training Development Programme (USNTDP) and has represented Team US in the Under-17 World Junior Championship.
The Chicago, Illinois native is playing for Blainville-Boisbriand Armada in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) this season and has already scored three goals and five assists in 8 games that he has played.
Ryan Strome (New York Islanders)
Ryan Strome, a Canadian international ice hockey player who is currently associated with the New York Islanders in the NHL, was picked up in the top five of the 2011 draft. Selected at 5th in the first round, Strome currently plays for the Niagara
IceDogs in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).
The 19-year-old centre had shown a phenomenal performance in 2010-2011 season which helped him in getting drafted and also scored more than 100+ points. In 65 games, he played 33 goals and 73 assists for a total of 106 points. This season he has already
scored five goals and five assists for a total of 10 points in 7 games.
Chris Kreider (New York Rangers)
American international ice hockey professional, Chris Kreider was drafted in the first round of the 2009 NHL Draft by New York Rangers. He also joined the roster in the latter part of 2011-2012 season but he could not play any games.
The 21-year-old player who can play as both right and left winger, was also a gold medal winner with the Team US in the 2010 World Junior Championships and Bronze medallist in the 2011 championships.
Mika Zibanejad (Ottawa Senators)
Swedish international ice hockey player, Mika Zibanejad is a prospect of Ottawa Senators as he was picked in the first round of the 2011 NHL Draft, selected at 6th overall.
The 19-year-old forward played his career in the native country’s Elitserien Hockey League (SEL) for Djurgardens IF junior side and played for their senior side before moving to America.
He was a gold medallist with Team Sweden in the 2012 World Junior Championship and went on to make his NHL debut in the same season. He could score only one assist in nine games which resulted in him being sent to AHL but he surely has got a great future
in NHL.
