Top geologist or jeweller for this?

i have a near flawless origional kashmir blue sapphire ( 1.5 carats) that is unheated, a near flawless columbian emerald ( deep green weighing 5 carats) and half a carat of intense unheated near flawless pink diamonds and a blue diamond( half a carat) how rare are they? and how much are they worth?

  1. No one can possibly give you an answer to your question without seeing and testing the stones in question. Your descriptions mean nothing without laboratory confirmation of your claims. I have particular doubts regarding your coloured diamonds as more than 95% of such stones on the market today are man made or colour enhanced.

    I am sorry if that is not what you want to hear but it is the reality of the situation.


  2. Tyla Mac is right.  You need to have them inspected by a certified gemologist, and then appraised by a licensed appraiser.  Then, I would purchase insurance on them and put them in a safe deposit box.

    (A jeweller is neither an appraiser nor a gemologist; although many can be quite knowledgeable, a jeweller is someone who specializes in selling jewelry.  However, your local jeweller can probably connect you with a gemologist and an appraiser.)

  3. I'm sure they are worth a lot (several thousand per carat,probably).You really need to have them professionally appraised. You shouldn't trust a bunch of "yahoos" on the internet for something that valuable.lol!!
