Top news headlines additional tab needs to be removed from coming up every time I open Internet.?

Everytime I open the Internet explorer, my Yahoo homepage will open along with an additional tab with the Yahoo top news headlines. How can I get the additional tab to stop opening also. I only want to Yahoo homepage, not the top headline news too. Thanks.

You can do that like this. When closing IE7 click the X on the tab to close it first. Leave ONE tab still open. Then close IE7 by clicking Red X.
