Dallas Mavericks 122 – Los Angeles Lakers 86

Dallas matched the 20 three-point record of the National Basketball Association play-offs.
The Lakers and coach Phil Jackson’s exquisite run comes to end with this loss. It was an embarrassing end to Jackson’s coaching career, who led the team to 11 championships.
After the game Jackson said, "I don't think I've seen a team play to that level in a series in a game like they played this afternoon. You'd like to have an opportunity to challenge, but we didn't."
Jason Terry
Terry spearheaded the Mavericks and contributed smashing 32 points to lift his team over the Lakers. Dallas bombarded the Lakers with an array of three pointers to advance to a 24 lead at half-time, as Terry led that rally. Jason hit nine three-pointers
to tie the play-off record and connected on 11 occasions out of his 14 shots.
Jose Juan Barea
Point guard Barea was the second top scorer of the squad, as he added 22 points together with eight assists.
Peja Stojakovic

Atlanta Hawks 100 – Chicago Bulls 88
A big night from forward Josh Smith enabled the Atlanta Hawks to get even with the Chicago Bulls, as they defeated them 100-88 on Sunday in a crucial match-up that tied the seven game series 2-2.
Josh Smith
Smith finished the game proceedings with 23 points, 16 rebounds, blocked two shots and lifted the Hawks offence with his team-high eight assists.
Eleven of his 23 points came in the final quarter and also clutched five boards during the same period. The Hawks made twice (16-8) the fast break-points as compared to the Bulls, as Smith led the numerous fast breaks.
Smith dominated the Bulls from the paint and Atlanta was able to outplay the Bulls 56-40 from the charity stripe.
Hawks’ coach Larry Drew said, "Josh and I have had a number of talks. I know what he brings to the table. When he plays the way he played tonight, we're pretty good. I think he recognizes that. He just sometimes finds his way out on the perimeter, and lets
it go. When he's rebounding, running the floor, pushing the basketball ... he has an ability, a very unique ability to affect the game on both ends of the floor. Josh played a phenomenal game."
Joe Johnson
Shooting guard Joe Johnson guided the Hawks with 24 points along with five assists. Twenty two of his 24 points came during the first three quarters of the game.
