I need recommendations? I'm going to be visiting Germany for 1 weekend, and need recommendations on places to go. Plan for one full day, and half a day. Where should I go? Do I have enough time to visit somewhere other than just Berlin?

  1. Baden Baden is really nice

  2. I've only been to Berlin once on a school trip but we stayed a week and were so exhausted from everything and we didn't get to see everything, so if you're planning on going to Berlin then, no I wouldn't recommend going anywhere else, but just in case I have to boast about my city Hamburg!!!  It's so amazing and it has stuff for everyone to do, it has just as much history as Berlin, but is a million times prettier plus isn't as bad of a tourist trap.

  3. Neuswanshtein Castle , near Munich

  4. JUST Berlin? Huh? You could spent 4 weeks in Berlin and you would still have not seen everything!

1 day and a half is nothing in Berlin!

  5. Berchtesgaden-Obersalzberg

    Bavaria, Germany

  6. My friend, if you want a worldly trip please visit Downtown Frankfurt... You like Techno or really wanna see Europe get down Rave style hit the Ubahn, it's a club that was converted from an old train station... Best Techno, Xtasy and liberal German women and men. The Red light District, your pick of the finest women in the world... 50 Euro gets you Freaky freaky, blazzy blazzy. Doner Kebabs are the best fast food items in Germany.

Enjoy my friend, just watch out for the creepy Turks and the Drunken American Soldiers

  7. I don't think a day and a half is enough for Berlin at all - you can hardly get situated.  I spent a month there a couple of years ago, and I did not get to everywhere I wanted to go.  I'd love to live there sometime.

If I had a weekend in Germany I'd visit a town on the Mosel or Rhine.  Why?  because it's beautiful, relaxing, with some cultural sites, but not too many, and fantastic food and wine.   Second choice would be a medieval town like Goslar in the Harz, or Quendlinburg.

If you do pick Berlin, then just try to see one area.  For example, visit the Reichtag/Brandenburg Gate, and wander down Unter den Linden to Alexanderplatz, with some of stuff in between.

  8. I've never been to Germany before but I think the Black Forrest would be lovely and Neuschwanstein castle.

I hope you have a lovely day there!!

  9. relax in Glücksburg and do a 'Butterfahrt' in Flensburg.
