Top players out in Wimbledon?

What do you think about these top players losing already in Wimbledon. Davydenko, Djokovic, Roddick, Sharapova, Ivanovic, and Blake? I think may be its the pressure or something? I don't know. But people that aren't even highly ranked are beating them. May be these people are just getting better. What do you think?

  1. Yes it is quite shocking seeing all of the top players going out in the early rounds of Wimbledon. I don't think it is pressure but maybe as you said the lower ranked players are getting better and the gap between them and the top players, except for Federer and Nadal, is going down. But look if you think about it all of the top seeded men's players falling in the early rounds simply plays in the favor of both Federer and Nadal to meet in yet again another Grand Slam final (seriously is this the best tennis rivalry ever or what?) as they will either have to face lower seeded players or maybe even unseeded players in the latter rounds of Wimbledon. For the women I think it plays into the hands of the William sisters, Jankovic, and Kuznetsova.

  2. I think since Wimbledon plays on grass, it's pretty tough for some of them who are more used to clay or other type for fields. I think Williams have chances now.

  3. People expect the most out of them so it's natural they are losing...whereas the other guys people don't really care so they are doing good.
