Wesley Sneijder
Wesley Sneijder is a 26-year-old Dutch player and plays as an attacking midfielder. He has already won the Player of the Year award in Netherlands which is known as the Johan Cruyff award.
Sneijder joined the Ajax Youth academy in 1991 as a seven year old and worked hard, constantly amazing everyone to finally make the first team squad after a full eleven years in 2002. He did make a move from the club after five years to join the Spanish
giants Real Madrid in 2007 and was a part of their squad for the next two years.
Then finally made the move to Internazionale in 2009. He won the Italian treble in the first season playing with Inter and they won the Serie A title, UEFA Champions league title and the Coppa Italia.
Sneijder made the first team debut for the Netherlands national team in 2003 and from then has matured as a regular in the team. He has made seventy appearances for the national team and has scored nineteen goals for them.
He made the national team at the age of eighteen and he was a part of the 2006 and 2010 World Cups, and the 2004 and 2008 European Championships.
He won the Silver Ball and the Bronze boot for his performances in the World Cup this summer in South Africa.
Wesley Sneijder played an amazing season for Internazionale in 2010 even though he was a reject from the ‘Los Blancos’, he performed at a phenomenal level right after joining his new Italian club.
He scored five goals in the World Cup this summer and had a leading hand in the Dutch’s move to the finals.
He is actually a candidate of the FIFA Ballon d’ Or Award with other players like Xavi, Iniesta and Lionel Messi.
His accurate passes and immense vision make him one of the best in the world.
Frank Lampard
Frank Lampard is the 32-year-old English player who plays as a midfielder for the Blues and the English national team.
He made the first team national squad in 1999 and has been playing professional football since 1995 and made the move to Chelsea in 2001.
He has been named the Premier League player of the decade according to his official statistics and is without a doubt seen as one of the best midfielders in the English Premier League.
His goal scores and number of assists are almost unmatched by any other and last season he scored twenty two goals. For a midfielder that is an amazing number.
He literally led the Blues to their Premiership title and his free-kick taking skills and miraculous long shoots is something only what other players can dream to achieve.
 
Andrey Arshavin
The decision of Andrey Arshavin to be on this list might seem a bit controversial but he is definitely a brilliant midfielder.
Arshavin had a leading hand in taking his team Zenit to the UEFA Cup title and he played a vital part in taking Russia to the Euro 2008 semi-finals.
His performances are nothing short of brilliant and have been so impressive this last few summers that the best clubs in the world tried signing him but Zenit initially refused to sell him.
