The Spaniard was a fruitful player for Valencia as he scored a hundred and twenty nine goals in two hundred and twelve appearances. He moved to FC Barcelona in the summers and now desires to win major trophies with the club.
Also, Valencia is going through a financial crisis right now. Even Zlatan Ibrahimovic was loaned out to AC Milan and now David Villa is the main striker for the Catalans.
He has also been a radiant player for the Spanish national team and was the highest scorer in the Euro 2008 as well. At present, he is only tied with Raul Gonzalez for the highest goals in favour of Spain and plans to break that record. He only has sixty
eight appearances for La Roja and has scored forty four goals.
Wayne Rooney:
A former Everton player, Wayne Rooney currently plays for Manchester United and England national team. He is considered to be one of the best young strikers as his strength, pace, clinical finishing and aerial abilities are almost unmatched in the Premier
League.
Rooney had joined Everton's youth academy when he was just ten years old and at sixteen years of age, he made it to Everton's first team. His performances with Everton lured Manchester United sign him for twenty five million pounds.
He has definitely grown as a player and under the supervision of Sir Alex Ferguson, has scored numerous goals for United. He has so far made two hundred and eighty seven appearances for the Red Devils and has scored a hundred and thirty seven goals for them.
Wayne Rooney is an important part of the team and even though he has some off-field issues, he is still one of the best players in the English Premier League. The player has also become a regular in the Three Lions and has sixty seven appearances with them,
scoring twenty six goals. He has taken part in major tournaments that include the 2006 as well as 2010 World Cups.
Samuel Eto'o:
Samuel Eto'o is from Cameroon and currently plays for Inter Milan, and has played with Barcelona and Mallorca in the past.
He is the only player that has won the glorious treble in consecutive seasons and he got them from Barcelona and Inter Milan.
Samuel is another one of the grandest strikers of his generation, and his finishes are world famous. He came out of the Los Blancos youth academy but could not secure a spot in the first team and was thus loaned to Espanyol, Malorca and Leganes.
Eto'o had been a creative player for Barcelona FC and also has had some controversial moments at that club. He has two hundred appearances with them while scoring a hundred and thirty goals. He then made a move to Inter Milan in a swap deal with Zlatan Ibrahimovic
after Barcelona’s Champions League win.
Eto'o is also a regular in the Cameroon National team and was the captain of the team in the 2010 World Cup. He has so far scored fifty goals for the national team and is thought to be one of Africa’s best strikers.
-Michael Owen:
The Englishman, Michael Owen is a key striker for Manchester United. He got there by venturing through clubs like Newcastle United, Real Madrid and Liverpool.
Owen came out of the Liverpool youth academy and is thought to be one of the best that Liverpool has ever produced. He made the starting line up in the first team for the Reds in 1997 and soon made himself a regular in the squad.
